A native of Portland, Maine,
Anne began lampworking in 1998 when she studied with master artist, Kristina
Logan in Italy. Once the flame was sparked, Anne continued her studies
under a variety of well-known artists such as Pati Walton, Doni Hatz, Loren
Stump, and Lucio Bubacco.
Through additional study of silversmithing
she has taken her glasswork to another level. "It's very cyclical – lampworking
fuels the inspiration for my jewelry making, and my silver work further
inspires my beadmaking."
Anne currently teaches lampwork at Heartwood
College of Art, and gives private lessons at her studio on Casco Bay. |
